I am Lucina's mum. I joined the Orange Bicycle Riders Group a few years ago now and have done the Gong Heathcoat to Wollongong Bike Ride in 2007; the first annual Mulga Bill ride from Cumnock to Yeoval NSW in 2006 and 2008; a Tassie East coast tour with the Orange BUG group, in 2006 or 2007 and 3 days of the Great Victorian Bike Ride in 2008. I also spent a week cycling Victorian rail trails around Bright for my 60th birthday and cycled around the North Island of New Zealand following my husband's choir tour. My kids would say I am 'somewhat' energetic bordering on hyperactive. I say 'the bus is boring'.

As you may know, I will be doing The Rainforest Ride bike ride in the Otways on the 21st November. 

My ride is going to help fight The Big Three: malaria, HIV and TB. Did you know that every 30 seconds, 5 people die from AIDS related deaths, 30 people are infected with TB and a child dies of malaria – we need to help put an end to these statistics.
