The 2009 Bosom Buddies Ball is set to thrill!

You too can be surrounded in action or dripping in diamonds at the 15th Annual Bosom Buddies Ball to be held at the Savoy Ballroom, Grand Hyatt on Saturday 22 August 2009.

With a theme as timeless as the movies, Diamonds are Forever will see guests enjoy a glamorous night out including the chance to win over $10,000 worth of stunning diamonds. That’s right, just by stepping your well heeled foot in the door you will be in the running for a dazzling pair of diamond earrings, valued at $1000, that are sure to impress any action hero!

Also on offer in our thrilling main auction is a $25,000, 1.5 carat, brilliant cut sparkling diamond ring to be auctioned off, courtesy of the Australian Diamond Company as well as a 2009 Ford Focus.

The Melbourne City Romp is an event like no other. Part treasure hunt, part ‘Amazing race’, part puzzle, the Romp will take you to parts of Melbourne you didn’t even know were there.

Team up with your friends, family or workmates for a great day out.  Using your map, mobile phone and clue sheet, you’ll take a discovery tour of Melbourne like no other.  Finding Checkpoints at Melbourne’s best venues as well as at it’s hidden treasures. Crack the Challenges at each Checkpoint and have a ball along the way.

Not only is the Romp a fantastic way to spend a Sunday, it’s also all in aid of a great cause – the Burnet Institute. The Burnet Institute is a unique organisation that combines medical research into infectious diseases and cancers with practical, action-oriented public health programs. This unique combined approach allows us to make a positive and long term impact on the quality of people’s lives in communities in Australia and around the world.
