We consider TV to be the next frontier for our Rapid Ascent events and we are continually trying to get greater public exposure for the feats of endurance, commitment and sporting prowess our competitors do.

Power to the Pedal is a new cycling specific program that is just starting and who came and filmed the 2010 Otway Odyssey and also the 2010 Bike Buller MTB Festival. So if you were at each of these events then you’ve a chance of seeing yourself on TV, or if you are an enthusiast of these sports its also worth tuning into this series. Included below is a little promo piece on the new series.

Bike Hub proudly presents POWER TO THE PEDAL broadcasting its first episode this week on Foxtel’s Aurora Channel 183 on Wednesday 10th March at 8pm.

For six weeks Power To The Pedal will be bringing you highlights of Road and Mountain Bike events from around Australia including the Santos Tour Down Under, DT Swiss Mountains to Beach, Amy Gillett Ride, Otway Odyssey and the Bike Buller MTB festival.

Each week we’ll also include our weekly chat with experts who will inform you on new products, technologies and safety tips to keep you up to date about cycling. Norm Douglas and Pro MTB rider Jessica Douglas have also joined the Power To The Pedal team to bring you some MTB tips each week for the series.

Power To The Pedal will also highlight magnificent road and mountain bike riding locations that are simply a “must do” on your next biking holiday. With destinations including Byron Bay Qld, Bundanoon NSW, Adelaide, S.A, You Yangs, Vic and the famous Beach Rd peninsula run from Port Melbourne in Victoria.
